Our Process at JBM Masonry

JBM Masonry, a Red Bank NJ-based company with complete licensing and insurance coverage, takes pride in its process of building a professional paver patio to ensure customer satisfaction. The process involves several steps, beginning with site assessment to determine the best course of action for a sound foundation. After site preparation, the excavation process removes debris, levels the area, and installs crushed stone for a stable base. Pavers are then carefully laid in a desired pattern with precision and accuracy. Joint sand is added to prevent paver movement, and the surface is compacted to ensure stability and durability. JBM Masonry keeps the job site clean throughout the project and inspects the patio's final product to ensure it meets the client's expectations.

FAQ

One of the main reasons for a paver patio sinking in a short amount of time is due to poorly tamped soil. If the soil beneath the pavers is not compacted enough, it can easily shift and settle, causing the pavers to sink and become uneven. This can be exacerbated by heavy foot traffic or rainfall, leading to further sinking and potential damage. To avoid this problem, it's essential to ensure that the soil is well-tamped before laying the pavers, and any excess water is drained away from the patio area to prevent soil erosion. Regular maintenance and repair can also help prevent further sinking and keep the patio looking its best.
